FOGGY PETRONAS
In the winter of 2001 FT started on one of its most exciting projects, the Foggy Petronas FP-1.

Team manager Nigel Bosworth approached FT with the ambitious plan to go from a blank sheet of paper to a race ready World Superbike in 6 months.

It was a massive task requiring the production of over 400 components, including the chassis, swing arm, radiator and exhaust system. A challenge FT welcomed.

FT's expertise was also called upon at the design stage working with FPR engineers giving advice and ideas on the materials and construction techniques. The finished result speaks for itself.

The next challenge was the production of 150 road bikes for FIM homologation. FT produced 150 chassis and swing arms in two batches of 75, with the second batch taking only 47 working days to produce. An incredible achievement considering that each one is individually hand crafted.

FT's involvement with FPR also went beyond the race and road bikes with FT producing the FPR pit equipment (pit stand, pit boards, pit trolley etc) Along with still being closely involved producing development and spare parts for the race team.

KTM
Since 2003 FT has been producing components for the KTM GP team. FT now supplies chassis, swing arms, fuel tank and radiator for both 125 and 250 GP machines.

HONDA RS125
In 2004 FT built a one off special chassis for UK1 racings Honda RS125. This incorporated a through the headstock air intake system and adjustable geometry. This proved very successful winning many races and the 2004 British Champaionship with Christian Elkin. We have also developed swing arm and rddiator for the RS125. All of these parts are available to order.

NSR Replica
Davey Rae came to FT in early 2003 to create a replica Honda NSR500 using a Suzuki RG500 engine. As a one off creation FT rose to the challenge and used its knowledge and experience, along with Davey Rae's enthusiasm to create an impressive machine.

FT produced the chassis and swing arm from photographs replicating the Honda, whilst also fitting the different engine and various other components.
